Abstract :
Purpoe
To evaluate the clinical applicability of a novel canning laer ophthalmocopy imaging ytem for ultra-wide-field fluorecein angiography.
Deign
Obervational cae report.
Method
Wide-field fluorecein angiography image were captured in normal volunteer and in patient with a variety of clinical diorder with a newly developed canning laer ophthalmocope (Optomap; Opto PLC., Dunfermline, cotland, United Kingdom) that produce high-reolution image of the fundu up to a 200-degree field. Fluorecein angiogram were performed uing tandard equence time.
Reult
Peripheral vacular perfuion of all four quadrant of a normal fundu wa oberved with good detail of the capillary architecture. Patient with diabete and ocular inflammatory eye dieae howed evidence of peripheral retinal nonperfuion. The relative degree of retinal perfuion and nonperfuion could be compared in ingle image.
Concluion
Ultra-wide-field fundu fluorecein angiography offer the poibility of evaluating and quantitating peripheral retinal perfuion and vacular pathology in fundu dieae.
