Abstract :
Purpoe
To report optical coherence tomography (OCT) finding in diorder recently decribed a peripapillary detachment in pathologic myopia (PDPM).
Deign
Obervational cae report.
Method
OCT, fluorecein, and indocyanine green angiography.
Reult
A 69-year-old woman preented with bilateral yellow-orange peripapillary area at the inferior border of the myopic conu, typical of PDPM. OCT howed thi area a a large intrachoroidal hyporeflective pace located below the normal plane of the retinal pigment epithelium. There wa no detachment of the retinal pigment epithelium which appeared flat.
Concluion
OCT finding ugget calling thi anomaly peripapillary intrachoroidal cavitation, intead of peripapillary detachment in pathologic myopia.
