Abstract :
Purpoe
To decribe optical coherence tomography (OCT) finding in two cae of typical tamoxifen retinopathy.
Deign
Obervational cae report.
Method
Two patient with tamoxifen retinopathy were imaged with fluorecein angiography and OCT 3.
Reult
Fluorecein angiography howed foveolar hyperfluorecence. OCT revealed a foveolar cytoid pace with focal diruption of the photoreceptor line. There wa no evidence of macular edema or thickening.
Concluion
In both cae, OCT finding are not conitent with previou decription of tamoxifen retinopathy, baed on fundu examination and fluorecein angiography, which include a decription of macular edema. Thi new imaging ugget that tamoxifen maculopathy may include a foveolar cytoid pace different from macular edema.
