Bilateral Diffue Uveal Melanocytic Proliferation in a Patient With Cancer-Aociated Retinopathy

Purpoe To decribe a patient with bilateral diffue uveal melanocytic proliferation (BDUMP) and cancer-aociated retinopathy (CAR). Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 66-year-old woman developed progreive viion lo 4 month after total hyterectomy. Ophthalmologic examination, Wetern blot tet of era and aqueou humor, and immunohitochemitry of carcinoma cell were performed. Reult Teting revealed BDUMP and evere retinal dyfunction. Autoantibodie againt recoverin and heat hock cognate protein 70 (hc 70) were detected in erum. Cytoplamic immunoreactivity for recoverin and hc 70 wa oberved in endometrioid carcinoma cell. Concluion imultaneou cae of BDUMP and CAR are rare. Aberrantly expreed recoverin and hc 70 triggered erum autoantibody production, which caued photoreceptor degeneration.
