Diagnoi and Anatomic Mapping of an Orbital Varix by Computed Tomographic Angiography

Purpoe To report the ue of computed tomographic angiography (CTA) to diagnoe an orbital varix. Deign Obervational cae report. Method A 73-year-old female wa invetigated by CTA for carotid artery tenoi. An incidental orbital leion wa dicovered. Reformation were obtained. Reult CTA demontrated a homogeneouly enhancing orbital apex leion. It provided exceptional anatomic detail of inflow and outflow vein, confirming the diagnoi of an orbital varix. Concluion CTA i cot effective, fat, non-invaive, and readily available. Thee apect combined with the exceptional vacular detail obtained may make CTA the primary tet for orbital varix diagnoi.
