Method The eaonality of 52 epiode of dematiaceou fungal keratiti occurring along the Gulf of Mexico from 1972 to 2004 wa examined. The temperature and relative humidity on the date of onet of 36 eye with Curvularia keratiti wa then compared with regional atmopheric condition. Reult A relative increae in the diagnoi of dematiaceou fungal keratiti occurred during late ummer and perited throughout autumn. The onet of Curvularia keratiti clutered in warm, humid month. Concluion Ocular phaeohyphomycoi, including curvularioi, varie with eaonal weather in the ubtropic.
