Abstract :
Purpoe
To report the uncommon occurrence of impetigo contagioa in the etting of recurrent taphylococcal conjunctiviti.
Deign
Interventional cae report.
Method
A 32-year-old patient had a recurrent painful red left eye and facial rah. Clinical examination revealed left bacterial conjunctiviti and facial bullou impetigo. Microbiology culture were taken from the noe, conjunctiva, and facial leion.
Reult
Microbiologic culture grew taphylococcu aureu, and hematology finding demontrated an elevated white cell count with neutrophilia. Complete reolution wa achieved with topical chloramphenicol ointment and oral dicloxacillin.
Concluion
Although uncommon, bullou impetigo may be aociated with recurrent taphylococcal conjunctiviti in adult. Recurrent infection may require naal decolonization, ytemic antibiotic, and antieptic body wah.
