Bilateral Diffue Melanocytic Proliferation Aociated With Ovarian Carcinoma and Metatatic Malignant Amelanotic Melanoma

Purpoe To report a cae of metatatic malignant amelanotic melanoma to the kin from a patient diagnoed with bilateral diffue uveal melanocytic proliferation (BDUMP). Thi dermatological finding i a unique phenomenon aociated with BDUMP. Deign Retropective cae report. Method We tudied the cae of a 66-year-old Caucaian woman with gradual onet of blurred viion in her right eye followed by her left eye. he had previouly been diagnoed with ovarian carcinoma, and finding of funducopic examination were conitent with BDUMP. Metatatic examination revealed no evidence of liver involvement. Clinical and hitopathological examination of both enucleated eye were conitent with BDUMP. Reult The hematoxylin and eoin, -100, and HMB-45 tain were conitent with metatatic malignant amelanotic melanoma to the kin. Concluion Although believed to have a low potential for metatai, patient hould be monitored and evaluated regularly to detect any new leion not aociated with their primary inciting carcinoma.
