Anti-β2 Glycoprotein 1 and the Anti-phopholipid yndrome

Purpoe To decribe a patient who preented with bilateral retinal vacular occluion and the ue of anti-β2 glycoprotein 1 (GPI) antibody teting in the diagnoi of antiphopholipid yndrome. Deign Obervational cae report. Method Hematological invetigation were performed on a 49-year-old man who preented with rapid onet of bilateral evere central retinal vein occluion. Reult Lupu anticoagulant and anticardiolipin antibody teting wa negative. Markedly raied titer of anti-β2 GPI antibodie were detected on two eparate occaion. Concluion The raied titer of anti-β2 GPI antibodie were conidered to trongly ugget an underlying diagnoi of the antiphopholipid yndrome.
