Method Two cae with IIH and unuual ophthalmoparee are reported. Reult Two patient with confirmed IIH preented with headache, diplopia, and papilledema. The firt patient had bilateral ixth nerve palie and a partial right third nerve paly, which reolved rapidly after a cerebro pinal fluid (CF) hunting procedure; the econd patient had alternating kew deviation and upbeat nytagmu. Both cae had normal brain magnetic reonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic reonance venography (MRV) and normal CF content, ruling out a econdary caue of intracranial hypertenion. Concluion Thee exceptional vertical and horizontal ophthalmoparee in the etting of IIH may be related directly to very elevated CF preure and may be econdary to altered CF flow in the poterior foa.
