Method Multipot PDT irradiation of tumor urface wa performed in a 45-year-old woman who had a choroidal metatai from breat cancer in the right eye. The repone of uveal metatai to photodynamic action wa invetigated with the ue of fluorecein angiography and optical coherence tomography (OCT). Reult Within four month after photoenitization, the exudative detachment of the macula wa reolved, with improvement in the viual acuity following decreae in the tumor vacular permeability and aborption of ubretinal fluid. Concluion PDT can effectively detroy a malignant tiue and induce an antitumor activity. PDT a an adjunct to chemotherapy i a poible treatment and might be appropriate for patient who require ocular treatment only.
