Bilateral Macular Leion in a 10-year-old Girl

Purpoe To report a previouly undecribed macular dytrophy. Deign ingle decriptive cae report. Method Preentation of clinical finding, including ophthalmocopy, fluorecein angiography, full-field and multifocal electroretinography (ERG), optical coherence tomography (OCT), and viual field. Reult A 10 year-old Caucaian girl had peculiar reddih blotchy macular leion bilaterally, aociated with decreaed viual acuity, and no family hitory of imilar leion. Fluorecein angiography wa inconcluive and howed mottled hyperfluorecence in the macula. The full-field electroretinogram wa normal, but multifocal ERG revealed diminihed waveform centrally. Concluion Thi i poibly a new macular dytrophy, the nature of which remain to be determined.
