Purpoe
To report choroidal detachment following tamuloin (Flomax, an α1A-adrenoceptor antagonit) treatment of benign protatic hyperplaia (BPH).

Method
Chart review, erial examination.
Reult
A 65-year-old man underwent uncomplicated cataract extraction and placement of a poterior chamber intraocular len. The patient ubequently developed three eparate epiode of choroidal detachment in the operated eye. Each epiode wa preceded by treatment with an α1-adrenoceptor antagonit.
Concluion
Tamuloin may caue advere ocular effect including recurrent choroidal detachment. α1A i the dominant α-adrenoceptor in the rabbit choroid, and the mechanim for choroidal detachment in thi patient could include ome effect of antagonit like tamuloin on thee receptor.
