Primary cleroing Cholangiti and Uveiti: A Cae erie

Purpoe To report the cae of ix patient with primary cleroing cholangiti and uveiti. Deign Retropective obervational cae erie. Method Two index cae were identified from the Uveiti Clinic of the Caey Eye Intitute, Oregon Health and cience Univerity and another from the Portland area. Additional cae were identified through a web-baed urvey of member of the American Uveiti ociety. Reult Three male and three female were identified. Five of ix patient were diagnoed with uveiti prior to primary cleroing cholangiti. Four had unilateral eye involvement. Five had inidiou onet. All had peritent duration. Clinical coure wa chronic for three, recurrent for two, and chronic-recurrent in one. Vitreou inflammation wa prominent in five. Concluion Although the number of patient who were tudied i limited, there appear to be an aociation between primary cleroing cholangiti and uveiti. Further tudie are required to confirm uch an aociation.
