Purpoe
To ae the accuracy of Travatan Doing Aid recording.
Deign
Propective evaluation of drop-recording accuracy.
Method
Phyician and patient ued the Doing Aid, and log of uage were compared to the data obtained from the Doing Aid.
Reult
Five phyician and 20 patient participated. Device ued by phyician recorded all drop dipened. Extra reading were recorded when phyician carried the device during the day. For patient, 93% of all drop were recorded, with 18 of 20 ubject having over 85% of the drop recorded. eventy percent of patient would continue uing the device.
Concluion
The Doing Aid accurately recorded mot eyedrop adminitered by patient and phyician. Given recent documentation of widepread undercompliance with medical therapy, the Doing Aid could be a ueful addition to clinical practice and reearch.
