A Method of Meauring Anterior Chamber Volume Uing the Anterior egment Optical Coherence Tomographer and pecialized oftware

Purpoe To decribe and evaluate a new method for meauring anterior chamber volume (ACV). Deign Obervational cae erie. Method The author meaured ACV uing the anterior chamber (AC) optical coherence tomographer (OCT) and applied image-proceing oftware developed by them. Repeatability wa evaluated. The ACV wa meaured in patient group with normal AC, hallow AC, and deep AC. The volume difference before and after laer peripheral iridotomy (LPI) wa analyzed for the hallow and deep group. Reult Coefficient of repeatability for intraoperator, interoperator, and interimage meaurement were 0.406%, 0.958%, and 0.851%, repectively. The limit of agreement for intraoperator and interoperator meaurement were −0.911 μl to 1.343 μl and −7.875 μl to −2.463 μl, repectively. There were ignificant ACV difference in normal, hallow, and deep AC eye (P < .001) and before and after LPI in hallow AC (P < .001) and deep AC (P = .008) eye. Concluion The ACV value obtained by thi method were repeatable and in accord with clinical obervation.
