Purpoe To report evere retinal thermal damage after indocyanine green–mediated photothromboi (IMP) for chronic central erou chorioretinopathy (CC). Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 31-year-old white male underwent IMP for chronic CC. Reult During the procedure, retinal whitening wa oberved in the area of the treatment pot. Fluorecein angiography revealed taining of the retinal arterie in the treated area. One year later, macular retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) change were een, accompanied by evere lo of viion. Concluion IMP ha been decribed a a relatively afe treatment option for peritent CC. However, we herein report a cae in which evere retinal damage occurred a a conequence of the treatment. We thu alert clinician of thi potential advere event.
