Abstract :
Purpoe
To decribe the clinical, angiographic, and optical coherence tomography (OCT) feature of high-doe tamoxifen retinopathy in three male patient.
Deign
Obervational cae erie.
Method
A review of hitory, clinical examination, and finding on fluorecein angiography (FA) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) wa conducted.
Reult
Three male patient receiving high-doe tamoxifen therapy ought treatment for viion lo and a crytalline maculopathy. Crytalline depoit were noted in the peripheral retina of two patient. All the patient howed macular leakage by FA, but cytoid macular edema (CME) on OCT wa detected in two patient. Inner retinal hyperreflective depoit were identified by OCT in all the patient.
Concluion
High-doe tamoxifen therapy may reult in peripheral crytalline retinopathy in addition to perifoveal opacitie. Angiographic evidence of macular edema may not unanimouly correlate with preence of CME on OCT in thee cae.
