Amniotic Membrane Tranplantation with Fibrin Glue for Conjunctivochalai

Purpoe To evaluate the feaibility of performing uturele amniotic membrane tranplantation (AMT) uing fibrin glue for conjunctivochalai. Deign Noncomparative interventional cae erie. Method In 25 eye of 16 patient with refractory conjunctivochalai (CCh), AMT uing fibrin glue wa performed to cover the bare clera. Reult The mean age wa 55.2 ± 18.5 year with nine patient (56.2%) younger than 60 year. The Tenon capule wa diolved in all eye. Fibrin glue wa effective in ecuring the amniotic membrane to the clera. For a mean follow-up of 10.6 ± 4.3 month, all eye achieved a mooth conjunctival urface with complete or ignificant improvement of ymptom in 44% and 56%, repectively. Complication included focal conjunctival inflammation in four eye and pyogenic granuloma in one eye. Concluion AMT uing fibrin glue can be performed for refractory CCh reulting in alleviating it ymptom and ign.
