Glaucoma Probability core v Moorfield Claification in Normal, Ocular Hypertenive, and Glaucomatou Eye Original Reearch Article

Purpoe To evaluate the Heidelberg Retina Tomograph III (HRT III) glaucoma probability core in differentiating normal from pathologic eye and to compare the glaucoma probability core with Moorfield regreion analyi (MRA). Deign Propective cro-ectional tudy. Method Fifty-nine normal, 40 hypertenive, and 83 glaucomatou eye were examined with wedih interactive threhold algorithm tandard 24-2 viual field and HRT III. enitivity and pecificity were evaluated uing global and ectorial glaucoma probability core and MRA compared with damage in viual field. Area under receiver operating characteritic (ROC) curve were evaluated. Agreement between MRA and glaucoma probability core wa calculated uing the κ coefficient. Glaucoma probability core wa conidered to be diplaced when a ymbol wa outide and the oppoite ymbol wa inide the optic dik. Reult MRA enitivity and pecificity were 39.8% and 93.2% (mot pecific criteria) and 68.7% and 83.1% (leat pecific criteria), repectively. Glaucoma probability core enitivity and pecificity were 71.1% and 69.5% (mot pecific criteria) and 85.5% and 54.2% (leat pecific criteria), repectively. Viual field parameter were related to the global (P = .001) and ectorial (P < .05) glaucoma probability core. A diplaced glaucoma probability core wa found in 35 eye, but with unchanged glaucoma probability core enitivity and pecificity. Area under the ROC curve of glaucoma probability core wa 0.77. The κ coefficient wa 0.34. Concluion Glaucoma probability core analyi tend to be more enitive but le pecific than MRA. Glaucoma probability core did not differentiate normal and hypertenive eye. When diplaced, glaucoma probability core enitivity and pecificity were unchanged. MRA and glaucoma probability core agreement wa low. Glaucoma probability core i advantageou over MRA in early-tage glaucoma.
