Abstract :
Purpoe To ummarize the clinical feature of immune rejection after corneocleral tranplantation. Deign A retropective, noncomparative, obervational cae erie. Method Patient who received corneocleral tranplantation becaue of whole corneal ulcer or corneal perforation at handong Eye Intitute from July 1, 2003 through July 31, 2005 were included. Fourteen patient (14 eye) with immune rejection but not recurrence or other complication were reviewed, including ocular viion, rejection onet time, ymptom, and characteritic. Reult The average rejection time in the 14 eye wa 35 day. The rejection aroe rapidly, and the mean bet-corrected viual acuity decreaed to counting finger or hand movement. Circular limbal congetion and edema developed with circuitou and dilatational veel. Whole graft edema and Decemet membrane fold were preent, but no epithelial rejection line, endothelial rejection line, or keratic precipitate were oberved. The average intraocular preure (IOP) dropped from 13.6 mm Hg to 7.4 mm Hg. even eye had hallow anterior chamber (AC). Retinal and choroidal edema wa oberved in five eye. Concluion The clinical feature of immune rejection after corneocleral tranplantation include rapid onet of rejection, viion decreae, circular limbal congetion and edema with circuitou and dilatational veel, whole graft edema and hallow AC, low IOP, and no rejection line or keratic precipitate.
