Abstract
This is a case report of a unilateral hydrosalpinx caused by tubal migration of a copper intrauterine contraceptive device. A 33-year-old woman underwent laparoscopic right salpingectomy for a hydrosalpinx. During the procedure, a copper intrauterine contraceptive device was found protruding from the distal end of the hydrosalpinx. (Am J Obstet Gynecol 2003;188:1109-10.)
