Abstract :
Several Organophosphate/thiophosphate derivatives of bis(1-mercaptoethyl)benzoxazole and further their phenoxy and substituted phenoxy derivatives were synthesized by reacting bis(1-mercaptoethyl)benzoxazole to POCl3/ PSCl3 in different molar ratios( 1:1, 2:1 & 3:1) and further by various phenols (phenol, nitrophenol, chlorophenol) in THF and in the presence of Et3N. The chemical structures of the compounds were elucidated by IR, 1H-NMR, and 31P-NMR. Their antifungal activities against Aspergillus niger and Fusarium oxysporium were investigated at different concentrations (250 and 500 ppm) and in this investigation; a significant level of activity was illustrated.
