Abstract :
Different physical properties (density and viscosity) have been determined to polyethylene glycol aqueous solutions at different temperatures. The Newtonian behaviour has been confirmed analysing the influence of shear rate upon viscosity and shear stress. Also the influence of the use of co-solvents upon the value of density and viscosity has been studied by the addition of ethanol or 2-propanol. The influence of temperature upon these physical properties for all the systems employed in this work has also been analysed.
