Abstract :
In this work, the method of the ISO Guide to the Expression of uncertainty in measurement are applied to derive analytical expressions for uncertainty in u, v (CIE 1960 uniform chromaticity scale coordinates ); w*,u*,v* (CIE 1964 uniform chromaticity color space coordinates); color shift, special color rendering (Ri) and at last the general color rendering (Ra). The results of calculation show that the uncertainty in (u, v) is the lowest one which the highest is that for Ri, One example is given for calibration of incandescent lamp (100 watt). An uncertainty in general color rendering index for which has been obtained as a fraction of unit. The spectral irradiance of the lamp has been measured using spectroradiometer, the maximum error of which within the spectral range (380-780) is 47 %.
