Abstract :
ABSTRACT: In this research, the thoracic Kyphosis and lumbar lordosis were studied in the students 15 to 18 years old and its relationship with the daily habits. Therefore, for examples, 100 male students 15 to 18 years old were selected. In this study, flexible ruler was used to measure the arch lordosis and Kyphosis and questionnaires was used to examine the daily habits of students. The Eta correlation method was used to determine the relationship between the normal distribution of data. Average age of sample 12/1 ± 5/16 years, height 172± 8/06 cm, weight 61/26 ±11/47 kg, arch Kyphosis 39/5 ± 8/97 ° and arch lordosis 39/68 ± 10/02 degrees respectively. There was no significant correlation relationship between habits of sitting, sleeping with thoracic Kyphosis and lumbar lordosis (P > 0/05). The results showed that there is a significant correlation between body mass index (BMI), with the degree of lumbar lordosis (R =0/226). But was not significantly associated between body mass index (BMI) with the thoracic Kyphosis.
This study was not obtained significant relationship between investigate lifestyle of students with curves of lumbar and thoracic and More studies with larger sample size would probably be helpful. It may be healthy and abnormal people use wrong habits of sitting and sleeping.
