Abstract
One of the most important methods in sustainable management is use of integrated management methods in weed control. The purpose of this research is to investigate the integration of tillage methods and herbicide for weed control in potatoes farmlands of Hamedan agriculture and natural resources research center. This experiment was carried out as split plots with 8 treatments and 3 replications in randomize complete blocks. The main treatments were two herbicide of Metribuzin as pre-growth and Rime methyl sulfide as post-growth and secondary treatments were including traditional tillage (Furrower), Furrower with mounting Sword blade, Rotoshaper and control (without tillage). Results showed that the interaction of herbicide and tillage on all of the measured properties was significant at probability level of 1%. Rotoshaper treatment at the rate of 71.2% had better controlling effect on mean number of weeds per square meter as compare to Furrower treatment. Finally it can be concluded that Rotoshaper treatment integrated with herbicide instead of Furrower (traditional in region) had better effects on weed control.
