grain yield of corn as influenced by bio-fertilizers in different irrigation

Interactive effects of biological and chemical phosphorus fertilizers in different irrigation on grain yield and harvest index of maize (Zea mays L.) were studied in a field experiment at Tehran University. Maximum of grain yield was obtained by normal irrigation and utilization of 150kg/ha chemical phosphorus fertilizers + biological fertilizers. Results indicated interaction between treatments had significant effect on grain yield, biological yield and harvest index. Interaction between different irrigation and biological fertilizers indicated that biological fertilizers increased 12.45% (in normal irrigation), 19.75% (in moderate stress) and 5% (in sever stress) on the grain yield in compare with control. Results showed that applying the combined chemical phosphorus fertilizer with biological fertilizer can be practical and helpful method to increase maize yield and reduce the environmental pollution.
