Abstract :
Cereals are widespread used in livestock nutrition due to their high dry matter production and low cost and management of forage crop production must be more regarded. In order to evaluate seed yield, biological yield and harvest index of barley ,s cultivars in different treatments of drought stress, an experiment was conducted as a split plot arrangement based on randomized complete block design with 4 replications at experimental agriculture farm of Islamic Azad University, Khorasgan (Esfahan) branch, in Esfahan. Irrigation treatments as a main plot were arranged on the basis of evaporation from pan evaporation (including irrigation after 80, 100 and 120 mm evaporation from pan), and sub plots were included 4 cultivars (Fasih, Nosrat, Reihan 03 and Yosef). On the basis of the result the highest total dry weight and LAI at stem elongation stage, at anthesis stage and in physiological ripening stage was related to irrigation on the basis of 80 mm evaporation from evaporation pan. There were no significant differences among cultivars in stem elongation stage, but the highest leaf dry weight, stem dry weight and total dry weight in that stage was related to Nosrat. The maximum LAI at that stage was obtained in cultivation of Fasih. At anthesis stage the maximum leaf dry weight, stem dry weight, total dry weight and LAI was related to Fasih which had significant differences with other cultivars. The maximum leaf dry weight and stem dry weight was related to Nosrat, however the maximum ear dry weight and total dry weight was obtained in cultivation of Yosef. Although Nosrat had obtained the highest LAI, but this cultivar had no significant difference with Fasih.
