Abstract :
ABSTRACT: The principle purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between Organizational Culture and Job Satisfaction of the Teachers of Physical Education in Guilan. The method of this research is descriptive- correlation. Statistical population consists of all the male and female Teachers of Physical Education in junior high school and high school-617 teachers. Out of this number 287 people were selected as the statistical sample, following the method of randomized multiple-phased cluster sampling based on Krejcie and Morgan table. In order to measure variations of the research, the questionnaire of available and desirable organizational culture (Hosseini 2005) with Cornbach’s Alpha 0/95, 0/76, questionnaire of Cellucci and Deuries(1978) Job Satisfaction with Cornbach’s Alpha 0/89, and demographic characteristics questionnaire were used. In order to analyse data, the methods of descriptive Statistics in the format of frequency distribution, measuring central tendency and variation was used. The test of Kolmogorov – Smirnov was used to analyze the normality of data distribution, and the inferential statistical tests of Wilcoxon, Multivariae of regression correlation, correlation coefficient of Spearman, Kendall, and Mann Whitney U were used. The result of the research was analysed by SPSS (version16) which showed in a significant level (p? 0/05) that: there is a positive and significant relation between organizational culture and its component with job satisfaction of the teachers of Physical Education in Guilan (p=0/001). Organizational Culture and its components (p=0/001) Predict the Job Satisfaction of the Teachers of Physical Education in Guilan. Likewise, A meaningful difference (p=0/001, Z= -12/34) has been noticed between the existing state and desirable organizational culture of the Teachers of Physical Education in Guilan . So, it can be concluded the existing organizational culture, in the middle level and job satisfaction of teachers, especially in the domain of salary and promotion is low.
