An investigation of creativity in physical education experts of Education Administrations and finding their creativity barriers

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research was an investigation of creativity in physical education experts of Education Administrations and finding their creativity barriers in Guilan Province. The statistical society is composed of all physical education experts in Education administrations in cities and regions of Guilan province of Iran. The number of samples was equal with the statistical society that included totally 40 persons. However, for interview of this number, 15 persons were randomly selected as samples. The method of this research is descriptive. Measurement tool of this research was the questionnaire and the organized interview. Experts in the field of sports management confirmed content validity. The Results represented that Education administrations in terms of creativity are very weak. Also, among the individual creativity barriers, "Accustomed to the habits" and among the organizational barriers, "The lack of space creativity and innovation" is a very strong deterrent for creativity of physical education experts. Finally, organizational factors are important barriers to prevent creativity. According to the results, seem to be necessary, a stimulating, creative and talented environment in Education administrations and the authorities should have more attentions to this issue.
