Politics in sport of Iran

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to explain and analyze the causes and consequences of of Involvement of Politicians in Sport of Iran. The process of this research is includes two steps: The first step of the research: qualitative research the type of Grounded theory (using interviews and study of articles & documents). The second step of the research: quantitative research the type of descriptive-antithetical (using the Delphi and AHP methods). After the end of the first step of the research, 55 variables were identified. Results showed that Fame and motivations of Elections from experts Viewpoint are as the most important the causes of entering the political directors to the Iran sport. Sport is a more important element of politics than before and this will continue to be so in the future of Iran.
