Abstract :
Tobacco is one of the valuable agricultural and industrial products that are cultivated in various climatic conditions and over too countries all over the world and some of them have a significant role in economy. In order to effect of furrow irrigation with one and two rows and nitrogen fertilizer on yield quality and quantity of Virginia tobacco variety cocker 347 testing was carried out through split plot testing and design randomized complete block with three replication and nine treatment in crop year 2010 at the Research Station Tobacco Center Rasht . Nitrogen fertilizer was the main factor for testing and has three levels 45, 55 and 65 kg/ha; sub factor was furrow irrigation that have three methods one row, two rows, and no irrigation (rainfed). Capacity of the soil moisture was determined by pressure plate apparatus and time of watering was determined by tensiometry device. Results from measurements showed the highest leaf yield, respectively, in one row irrigation and 55 kg of nitrogen fertilizer, two rows irrigation and 55 kg nitrogen fertilizer and two rows and 65 kg of nitrogen fertilizer were respectively, with values of 3864 and 3676 and 3220 kg ha are the highest yield. Results from analysis of data showed that the relative nitrogen, phosphorus uptake, leaf yield and SLA were significant at 1 percent levels in irrigation, but potassium uptake and Leaf nicotine was significant at 5 percent levels in irrigation treatments comparison between furrow irrigation with one and two rows shows that irrigation with two rows has a higher yield. Comparison between nitrogen fertilizers also shows that the amount of 55 kg of nitrogen fertilizer more affected quantitative of tobacco and 65 kg of nitrogen fertilizer more affected qualitative of tobacco. we can be concluded that optimum utilization of water resources can improvement qualitative and quantitative of tobacco plants.
