Abstract :
Purpose: The purpose of this paper was to develop a conceptual model that examines the relationship between employees’ perceptions of CSR, organizational identification, citizenship behaviors, engagement, and retention. Approach: The study of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has gained importance as organizations engage in socially responsible behaviors beyond those required by law (McWilliams & Siegel, 2001). However, the study of CSR has been somewhat limited to its impact on organizations’ financial performance and corporate image. More studies are needed to examine the factors of CSR and the impact of CSR on employees’ attitudes and behavior. Thus, this paper attempts to fill this gap. Originality/Value: The conceptual model proposed in this paper paves the way for testing the model in practice
