Abstract :
ABSTRACT: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of nitrogen fertilizer (0, 60, 90 and 120 kg N ha-1) as the main plots, biofertilizer) with and without) as sub plots on some qualitative characteristics of three sesame cultivars (Naz, Oltan and Varamin (as the sub-sub plots in a split-split plot based randomized complete block design with three replications. Parameters such as seed oil and seed protein percentage, hectoliter weight, harvest index, oil yield and protein yield were recorded. Result showed that sesame cultivars had significantly different in terms of all characteristics. Application of biofertilizer caused an increase in oil yield. Varamin cultivar had lowest values of most the studied characters. Oltan cultivar had maximum oil and protein yield. According to significant interaction between cultivars and nitrogen in terms of oil yield, optimum amount of this term was belonged to Oltan cultivar with 60 kg ha-1, Naz and Varamin cultivars with 90 kg N ha-1.
