Abstract :
Abstract: In order to evaluate of plant density and irrigation interval effect on pumpkin, a split plot experiment as randomized complete design with 4 replications was conducted in Qazvin, Iran, in 2010. Irrigation factor had 3 levels as I1=60, I2=120, I3=180) mm evaporated from A class evaporation plate) as main plots, that exerted in pre-flowering stage and plant density had 4 levels as 6000, 8000, 10000 and 12000 p/h as sub plots. Results showed that irrigation after 60 mm evaporation had the highest grain dry weight (82.5 g/plant) and irrigation after 180 mm evaporation had the lowest grain dry weight (64.4 g/plant). plant density 10000 plant/ha had most grain dry weight (84.1 g/plant) and plant density 6000 plant/ha had least grain dry weight (62.8 g/plant). Irrigation after 60 mm evaporation had the most grain oil percent (43.8%) and irrigation after 180 mm evaporation had the least oil percent (41.4%). But plant density treatment had not significant effect on oil percent.
