POLLEN MORPHOLOGY OF THE GENUS RHEUM L. (POLYGONACEAE) IN IRAN

مورفولوژي دانه گرده جنس Rheum L. (Polygonaceae) در ايران با استفاده از ميكروسكوپ نوري (LM) و ميكروسكوپ الكتروني نگاره (SEM) مطالعه شد. دانه‌هاي گرده در نماي قطبي معمولا داراي تقارن محوري، در دو قطب مشابه، وسه شياري اند در حالي كه در نماي استوايي دايره‌اي شكل‌اند. تزيينات سطح اگزين متغير است و به شكل‌هاي با منافذ پراكنده تا منفذ‌دار، ميخچه‌هاي پراكنده (Rh. turkestanicum)، منافذ كشيده، ميخچه دار (Rh. ribes) و يا منافذ نوك سوزني- با تراكم بالايي از ميخچه‌ها (Rh. persicum) ديده مي‌شوند. بر اساس صفات كمي و كيفي مطالعه شده كليد شناسايي گونه‌هاي ايران ارايه مي‌شود.

Pollen morphology of the genus Rheum (Polygonaceae) from Iran was studied by light microscope (LM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Pollen grains are usually auxiliary symmetrical, isopolar and tricolpate in equatorial view, while circular in polar outline. Exine sculpturing is variable and are sparsely faveolate to perforate, less microechinate (Rh. turkestanicum), perforate-favusus, microechinate (Rh. ribes) and perforate to foveolatus, densly microechinate (Rh. persicum). On the basis of qualitative and quantitative characters identification keys for species were prepared.
