Abstract :
ABSTRACT: To study the genetic diversity in 25 winter barley lines, a study was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replications at Ardabil Agricultural Research and Natural Resources Station, in 2011. The laboratory operations were conducted in Ardabil IAU Biotechnology Laboratory. Results suggested that the molecular weight in studied genotypes was in the range of 2.69 KD to 109.06 KD and relative mobility in the range of 0.23 to 0.80. Also, electrophoresis indicated the highest number of bounds (16 and 17) in genotypes No. 10 and No. 12 had the lowest number of bounds in genotype No. 18. Using cluster analysis based on studied traits in lines categorization, the third group, including cultivars No. 5 and No. 17, was the best group. The highest number of bounds was 17 and 16 in genotypes No. 10 and 12 and the lowest number of bounds was 6 which was observed in genotype No. 18. In categorization based on protein data, the third group, including genotype No. 18, as a high-tillering genotype with a high number of fertile tillers. This genotype had a high value in most studied traits including harvest index, seed length and hectoliter. The farthest distance on protein bounds was related to genotypes No. 18 and No.4, No. 12, No. 11 and No. 20. Categorization based on morphologic data had a 35% compatibility with protein data.
