گزارش يك مورد ليكانتروپي غير معمول و مصرف اكستازي

چكيده ليكانتروپي باوري هذياني مبتني بر تبديل شخص به گرگ يا جانور ديگري مي‌باشد. در فرم نادري از آن شخص معتقد است كه فرد ديگري به حيوان تبديل شده است. در اين مقاله مرد جواني با شكل غير معمول اين سندرم گزارش شده است. علايم وي بعد از يك بار مصرف قرص اكستازي ايجاد شده كه نشان‌دهنده بروز روان‌پريشي‌هاي نادر و غير معمول در بيماران مستعد اسكيزوفرني به دنبال مصرف قرص‌هاي اكستازي مي‌باشد. مصرف اكستازي خود مي‌تواند روان‌پريشي‌هاي پارانوييدي شبيه اسكيزوفرني بدهد. در بيمار گزارش شده به نظر مي‌رسد كه مصرف قرص‌هاي اكستازي در آشكارسازي آسيب‌ پذيري زمينه‌اي بيمار به اسكيزوفرني نقش داشته است.

Abstract Lycanthropy is an unusual belief or delusion in which the patient thinks that he/she has been transformed into an animal. In rare cases, the patient believes that another person has been transformed into an animal. We report a patient with an uncommon variant of lycanthropy is introduced. The symptoms appeared after consumption of ecstasy. This shows the occurrences of uncommon and rare psychosis after ecstasy drug use especially in patients susceptible to schizophrenia. Ecstasy drug can induce paranoid psychosis similar to schizophrenia. In the presented case, ecstasy seemed to have a role in patientʹs underlying susceptibility to schizophrenia.
