Abstract :
An experiment was conducted on 12 bread wheat genotypes based on complete randomized blocks design with three recurring at experimental farm of Islamic Azad University, Ardabil Branch in order to investigate the effect of humic substances on categorization and selection of superior genotypes. 9 out of the 12 genotypes prepared from Natural Resource and Agronomic Researches Center of Ardabil Province and the remaining three from Azerbaijan Republic. Study traits included plant height, days number till heading, days number till anthesis, days number till physiological maturity, Peduncleʹs length, spike length, spike weight, grain number per spike, grain weight per spike, biological yield, straw yield, 1000 grain weight and grain yield. Variance analysis of data suggested a highly significant difference for all the traits. Tous genotype was superior to others in terms of some of the traits including grain yield. Cluster analysis was done by WARD and based on all traits with standard data. In this analysis 12 study genotypes were categorized into two clusters, first cluster included 9 genotypes and second one 3 genotypes.
