Abstract :
Chaotic encryption of images is the new way of cryptography. The chaotic encryption algorithms have several advantages over the traditional encryption algorithms like high security, speed, reasonable computational overheads and computational power. These algorithms use the chaotic system properties like loss of information and are sensitive to initial condition. Several chaos-based encryption methods have been proposed and discussed in the last one decade. To obtain higher performance, these methods take benefit of the more and more complex behavior of chaotic signals. This paper is a contribution by comparing and analyzing the performance of the previous chaotic image encryption methods.
