Abstract :
ABSTRACT: The genus Hyoscyamus L. belongs to Solanaceae family, with 20 species all over the world and 13 species in Iran. In this study, the genetic diversity of 24 genotypes of Hyoscyamus including Hyoscyamus niger, H.reticulatus, H.pusillus, H.kurdicus and H.arachnoidues species was investigated based on ISSR markers in Iran. The similarity matrix was computed by using Jaccard similarity coefficients, based on polymorphic bands and dendrogram established through UPGMA cluster analysis. The dendrogram revealed 2 main groups. Genetic similarity (GS) ranged from 0.09 to 0.53 within studied genotypes. In general ISSR markers could detect high polymorphism among Hyoscyamus genotypes and represented that ISSR method is a suitable way to determine genetic diversity.
