Abstract :
Hopefulness is one of the important factors in positive psychology. Its positive correlation with job success, happiness, self-esteem and academic success have been shown in previous studies. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation of hopefulness and visual memory among college students. A sample of 60 students (30 psychology and architecture students) was selected randomly and data were collected through Snyder hope scale and Kim-Karad visual memory test. Results were analyzed by Pearson correlation and t-test and revealed that high-hope students have better performance in visual memory task.
