Abstract :
In order to evaluate planting different beds for mini-tuber production of two potato cultivars under greenhouse conditions, this experiment was conducted in 2011. After production under in vitro condition micro-tubers were moved to the greenhouse. In this experiment, produced plantlets from two potato cultivar meristem were propagated by single node cutting method. This experiment was performed according to the factorial on the base of completely randomized design with two factors included including two potato cultivars (Agria and Savalan) at the first and three planting beds (Mikskaar, Pindstrup and Biolan) at the second one in three replications. Analysis of variance showed significant difference between cultivars, planting beds and between interactions in terms of all mini-tuber weight per plant, plant height, mini-tuber weight between 3-7 g and smaller than 3g; between planting beds and their between interactions in terms of all mini-tuber number per plant, mini-tuber number bigger than 7 g and between 3-7 g; between cultivars and planting beds in terms of all mini-tuber number smaller than 3 g and between planting beds in terms of all mini-tuber bigger than 7 g. Savalan cultivar had the highest mini-tuber number and weight, mini-tuber bigger than 7 g and 3-7 g in Mikskaar planting bed. The Different mini-tuber number per plant was Savalan cultivar in Mikskaar planting bed with control (Biolan) about 266 mini-tuber numbers per square meter. The mini-tuber number per plant relationship was positive and significant with mini-tuber weight per plant. The results of this study showed that, Savalan cultivar in Mikskaar planting bed for more mini-tuber producers to micro-tuber for country mini-tuber manufacturer is recommended.
