Gingival hyperplasia is one of the characteristics of calcium channel blockers, in hypertensive patients and the number of patients with this oral lesion has greatly increased in last three decades.It also represents an Over lively response to a variety of local and systemic conditions. Calcium channel blocking is use extensively about management of Cardiovascular Disease. In this paper the proposes of mechanism by which calcium channel antagonists may induce gingival overgrowth.
