  • Abstract
    A new ligand containing a linear sequence of four-tridentate chelating subunits built around alkoxide and pyrimidine bridging groups undergoes a spontaneous self-assembly process with Pb(CF3SO3)2 to produce a unique hexadecanuclear [4 ×(2 × 2)]ʹgrid of gridsʹ type structure with external dimensions of 26 A.
