Enantioselective construction of stereogenic quaternary centres via Rh-catalyzed asymmetric addition of alkenylboronic acids to (alpha),(beta)-unsaturated pyridylsulfones

The highly enantioselective construction of all-carbon quaternary stereogenic centres via Rh-catalyzed Chiraphosmediated conjugate addition of alkenylboronic acids to (beta),(beta)-disubstituted (alpha),(beta)-unsaturated 2pyridylsulfones is described.
