Abstract :
ABSTRACT: A factorial experiment was conducted in randomized block design in seed and plant Improvement Institute, Karaj during 2008, 2009 and 2010, in order to investigate the effect of different amounts of nitrogen and amino acids on corn cultivars. Nitrogen was considered in the three levels of 0, 115 and 230 kg ha, spraying amino acids was considered in three levels of 0, 4 and 5 liters per hectare and also cultivars were considered in three levels of cultivars of late ripening KSC700 and KSC704 and an early ripening cultivar of KSC500. Some morphological characters including plant height, height to below the main ear, stem diameter, percent of corn wood, depth, grain and biological yield were evaluated. result of the study showed that mean comparison of the effect of nitrogen and amino acid on characteristics under investigation increased with increasing nitrogen fertilizer than no fertilizer use (control).Mean comparison of the interaction of nitrogen fertilizer and amino acid on characteristics under investigation showed that With increasing fertilizer use has increased than no use of fertilizer (control). So with 230 kg N ha + 5 liters of fertilizer per hectare, the highest value in the biological characteristics were obtained. Mean comparison of the effect of amino acid and variety showed that characteristics under investigation will be increased rather than no consumption of fertilizer (control) with increasing consumption of amino acid. so all varieties in 5 liter amino acid per hectare and in all characteristics under investigation had the highest amount. Mean Comparison of the interaction of amino acid, nitrogen and cultivar on the characteristics of the study showed that combined application of 230 kg of pure nitrogen + 5 liters per hectare biological fertilizer containing amino acids allocated the highest rank between the treatments. plant height, ear height to the main stem diameter, ear per cent of the wood, the depth of grain and biological yield were maximum in KSC704 cultivar and KSC700 and KSC500 were ranked next. KSC700 was the most from the aspect of percent of wood corn and KSC704 and KSC500 were ranked next.
