Abstract :
ABSTRACT: Petunia is one of the most important season flowers in urban landscape.Petunia hybrida “Carnival” uses in the gardens that colors variety and flowers size are important, but canopy is not important. In order to survey effect of irrigation regimes on characteristics of this cultivar, the trial had been executed on the ET-HS model. This experiment performed with three treatments of irrigation 100, 75 and 50% ET-HS. The experiment was tested in completely randomized design. Plant height, number of accessory shoot, number of flower, leaf area, RWC and proline were measured. Results showed that with decreasing in irrigation were declined, the plant height, the number of accessory shoot and RWC. But there are no significant differences between three irrigation treatments. The floweringand leaf area decreased significantly at 50% ET-HS comparison with 100 % ET-HS. The proline was increased with drought stress.
