Relationship between spiritual intelligence and religious (Spiritual) coping among students of Payame Noor University (PNU)

Abstract:In order to find out the relationship between spiritual Intelligence and religious coping among the students of Payame Noor University (PNU) of Ardebil a study was done among about 8000 students studying in the second semester of current academic year (2009-2010) in Ardabil Payame Noor University; and about 400 of them were selected in cluster random Method as a statistical sample. Sample size was calculated based on Gerjesy-Morgan table, and ?= 0.05. The research went on correlated - descriptive method. Required data was collected using a following questionnaire 1): Self-evaluation test; 24 Question of Spiritual Intelligence and ?= 0.95 realities 2) Scale; 14 Question of religious contrast with ?= 0.87 reliability collected data was descriptively reported. The research questions were analyzed using the t- test Single sample, Kai square test, Pearson correlation test and logistic regression tests. The analysis showed that Spiritual Intelligence and its components include the existential status of critical thinking; personal interpretation, divine consciousness and transcendental consciousness are significantly higher than average s among male and female students. But spiritual link with among the male students is average meanwhile 5 Percentage of those students had negative cope and 95 Percentage had positive concept. In addition, the spiritual intelligence was not a good method for explaining the significant meaningful contrast styles.
